The Australian Embassy encourages businesses and individuals planning to move to Australia to use the country’s Fast Track Global Talent visa.

Australia’s Global Business and Talent Attraction Taskforce offers personalized assistance with the aim of attracting talent from around the world to Australia. Interested individuals who meet the criteria are given priority processing for a Global Talent Visa, which includes permanent residency.

The country also issues expedited visas for immediate family members and can help companies obtain visas for their senior executives, key company personnel and their relatives. There are specific criteria to assess their eligibility. The task force will assess this by checking the candidate’s ability to achieve several key factors.

There is an emphasis on job creation, especially in areas that fill critical supply chains. It is also important for the individual to bring new skills and knowledge to Australia. It is also essential for aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators to be able to make their mark, to be leaders in their field with international recognition.

Individual eligibility also depends on the candidate’s ability to link their future personal victories to those of Australia so that both sides flourish. Essentially, the focus is on personal contribution to the economic success of the host country.

The business criteria are slightly different. Approval of a business visa will depend on its ability to create a large number of jobs for Australians. There must also be added value through cutting-edge research and development.
