The visa section of the German Embassy will remain closed in Pakistan today


ISLAMABAD: Following the attack on former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan, the visa section of the German Embassy in Pakistan will remain closed today.

The announcement was made by German envoy to Pakistan Alfred Grannas in his tweet.

Considering the current situation in Pakistan, the visa section of the German Embassy will remain closed today, Alfred Grannas said.

Earlier, the envoy also condemned the attack on Imran Khan from his Twitter account.

Earlier, Faisal Javed Khan said in a Twitter post that he met Imran Khan who had undergone surgery. He said that the leader of the PTI is in good health by the grace of Allah.

Former Prime Minister and President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and other PTI leaders were injured after a man opened fire near the PTI reception camp in Allahwala Chowk during the long party march.

PTI leader Faisal Javed Khan, who was injured in the attack, confirmed that a worker or party official was killed in the attack and several others were injured.
